Can we say that everything at JavaZone’s first day went like clockwork? “Certainly we can say that. Of course there was a good deal of stress right before the opening, but now I feel we’re in the zone,” replies Carl Onstad, who is responsible for the technical side of JavaZone.
Thought provoking at JavaZone

Senior IT architect Dag Bryhn held a very thought provoking presentation on JavaZone’s first day on the subject of SOA. During his presentation, Bryhn managed to convey SOA’s significance and practicability to his audience in a convincing way.
Amok at an IT conference

Rhino Thue ran amok at JavaZone in front of several hundred spectators. Thue’s way of solving a certain virus problem certainly raised some eyebrows.
Hearts in their mouths, along with the coffee

More than 2,000 participants at JavaZone got a real wake up call on the first day of the conference. The whole thing started at 08.30 with a spectacular show that had spectators’ hearts competing with their coffee for space in their mouths.

The paperless society is probably an illusion - for now at least. But it is a fact that you can save money and the environment by helping to reduce the amount of printed paper. That’s why this year’s JavaZone programme is green.
